My Story.
Entertaining has always been a true passion of Casey's. With over seven years of event planning experience in Alabama, New York and Texas, Casey Hooper brings creativity, organization and a personal touch to create memorable events for her clients small and large, specializing in event strategy and brand marketing.
She is currently over the Visitors Center and Local Brand Activations at Balcones Distilling.
Prior to moving to Waco, Texas in December 2013, Casey lived and worked in New York City for over five years. She coordinated and planned events for Bon Appétit magazine such as the 3-day annual foodie event, Vegas Uncork'd and the BA Café, a pop-up restaurant at Lincoln Center during Fashion Week. She also managed events for USA TODAY including their re-brand in 2012 and their long-time partnership with the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. During her time in New York, she fell in love with the importance of food and memories formed around good friends, good food and good wine.
During her time in Waco, she quickly became involved on the pulse of the city. She volunteered her time as the Loft Tour Chair for the Waco Symphony Council's Spring 2014 Fundraiser event, the Celebrate Waco festival. Working with local businesses and downtown loft owners, Casey created a one-of-a-kind experience for audiences interested in seeing a sneak-peak of urban living in Downtown Waco.
Through her experiences she quickly learned the value of events as it relates to a variety of businesses and new ventures.
Casey grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where she attended the University of Alabama receiving a degree in Business Marketing and Public Relations.
